The main topic of my work is the repercussions of the estrangement from nature. An intentionally entangled and speculative space, Surface Dwellers examines the dissonance between surface and content. Imagining the surface as a sensual interface, each part of the installation takes on a different approach: as connecting tissue, a clue to what is happening underneath, border, burden, mirage or camouflage. Materials and forms are juxtaposed to created layered meaning. The spatial relations of each inhabitant of the created environment are mapped in a multi-dimensional topography.
