There are always personal ritualistic gestures in the dramaturgy of habits of every artist, bringing out whatever is stored in the transcendental body. I create as a rite of transformation. It's an experiment within material and process, reversing classical procedures. I investigate pushing myself out of the comfort to flow intuitively. A lot happens randomly. Afterwards, I build my installations as ensembles of my paintings and other objects I craft. I wish those artworks to be a room where visitors get in contact with the now. Therefore, an important part of my practice is to activate the space with collective experiences: rituals, readings, dinners, performances … I explore through collaborative practices the notions of self-care, domestic rituals and inner gardens; with this, I wish to collaborate with collective self-transformation.
